Directions to the Farmington Antiques Weekend Show Farmington Polo Grounds, Farmington, CT __________________________________________________________________ FROM LONG ISLAND Take Throgs Neck Bridge, bear to right towards Greenwich, CT on 1-95 North to New Haven. (Follow directions from New Haven below.) FROM NEW HAVEN North on 1-91 to Rt. 691 in Meriden. West on 691 to I-84. East on I-84 to exit 39 Farmington. Straight ahead on At. 4 West about 2 1/2 miles thru the village to Town Farm Road (big show sign on the right). Take right to the show at the Farmington Polo Grounds. FROM ALBANY Take I-90 East to Mass. Turnpike. Take Westfield, Mass. exit. Go south on Rt. 10 into Conn. In Avon, Rt. 10 joins Rt. 44. Go left at this junction on Rt. 44 & 10 for 1 mile to Avon Old Farms Inn. Take right on Rt. lO for 3 miles to the light at Old Farm Road. Take right on Old Farm Road for 1/2 mile. Take first left on Tillotson Road. The show is 2 miles on the left at the Farmington Polo Grounds. Take the second entrance on the left. FROM NEW YORK CITY Head north out of the city on the New England Thruway, Rt. I-95. Just past Scarsdale you will come to I-287. Go West on I-287 toward the Tappan Zee Bridge and the Merritt Parkway, Go a short distance and take I-684 North toward Brewster, New York. (Alternate directions: take any highway North out of New York City to I-287, then get to I-684 North). Go North on I-684 for 3O miles. Take I-84 East towards Danbury and Hartford. Stay on I-84 for 50 miles to Exit 39 Farmington. Take a left hand exit off exit 39 to the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Rt. 4 West straight ahead about 2 1/2 miles thru the village to Town Farm Road (big show sign on the right) and turn right to the show. Driving time from New York City is about 2 hours. FROM BOSTON Go West on the Mass. Turnpike to the Sturbridge exit. Take I-84 West, thru Hartford to exit 39 Farmington which is 9 miles beyond Hartford. Follow Rt. 4 West straight ahead about 2 1/2 miles thru the village to Town Farm Road. (big show sign on the right). Turn right to show. Driving time from Boston is about 2 hours. FROM NEW JERSEY Depending where you live take either the Garden State Parkway or Palisades Parkway north to I-287 across the Tappan Zee Bridge. One mile over bridge I-287 exits right, sign says to New England. Stay on I-287 past White Plains. I-684 exits right towards Brewster, New York. Immediately as you exit the road splits and you stay on I-684 by taking left fork over I-287. Go North on I-684 for 30 miles. Take I-84 East towards Danbury. Stay on I-84 for 50 miles to Exit 39 which says Farmington. Go straight ahead on Rt. 4 West about 2 1/2 miles thru the village to Town Farm Road (big show sign on the right) Take right to Polo Grounds. Driving time from Tappan Zee Bridge is about 1 1/2 hours. FROM SPRINGFIELD Take 91 South to the Granby exit. Take Rt. 10 South to Avon and the junction of Rt. 10 & Rt. 44. (See direction directly below.) FROM SIMSBURY, AVON, AND ROUTE 1O NORTH At the intersection of Rt. 10 and Rt. 44 in center of Avon turn left as 10 & 44 run the same. Follow Rt. 10 & 44 as it turns right at the Avon Old Farms Hotel. Go about 3 miles to the light at Old Farm Road. Turn right on Old Farm Road for 1/2 mile to Tillotson Road. Turn left on Tillotson to the show at the Farmington Polo Grounds. Use the second entrance on the left. FROM PROVIDENCE Take Rt. I-95 South to Exit 69, Rt. 9 in Old Saybrook. Take Rt. 9 North to I-84. West on I-84 one exit to exit 39 Farmington. Follow Rt. 4 West straight ahead thru the village about 2 1/2 miles to Town Farm Road (big show sign on the right). Right to Polo Grounds. FROM FAIRFlELD COUNTY (NORWALK, WILTON, NEW CANAAN) Take Rt. 15 (Merritt) to Rt. 8. North on Rt. 8 to Waterbury. Take 1-84 East to Exit 39. Take Rt.7 to Danbury. Then take I-84 to exit 39. FROM BRIDGEPORT AREA AND LONG ISLAND FERRY Take Rt. 8 north to I-84 east in Waterbury. Continue on I-84 to exit 39.
